St. Martin’s Lutheran School ended the 2016-17 school year with a year full of special accomplishments.  Here’s a look back at some of the memories from the past school year:


St. Martin’s student athletes enjoyed successful seasons in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse under the guidance and coaching of Coach Zachary Steeg.

St. Martin’s hosted an exchange program with Chinese middle school students in the fall of 2016.

In October, St. Martin’s students hosted their grandfriends for a special day of camaraderie and fun.

Third and fourth graders learned about Maryland’s colonial history during a visit to Historic Londontowne.

Every year, students and faculty celebrate Thanksgiving with a school-wide feast.

St. Martin’s Christmas program includes beautiful songs of the season and a living nativity.

Middle school students competed in the National Geographic GeoBee for the third straight year.  St. Martin’s champion advanced to the state bee.

St. Martin’s robotics team, the Legitabuilders, won the Champions Trophy at the First LEGO League Battle of the Bay Qualifier at Anne Arundel Community College and advanced to the state competition.

The Random Acts of Kindness Club spread kindness, generosity, and good will throughout St. Martin’s and the Annapolis community.  They participated in the annual tug-of-war between Annapolis and Eastport, at Midnight Madness, and at the Halloween Walk benefiting the Avergan Foundation, and they made gifts for nurses and patients at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

St. Martin’s Bulldog Buddies forged strong friendships between 5th grade and Pre-K students.

The annual science fair gave St. Martin’s middle school students an opportunity to conduct, exhibit, and defend their own independent scientific research.

At Evening of the Arts, St. Martin’s students put their artistic accomplishments on display.

Lynn Miller’s first grade class once again explored and shared the wonders of the Amazon rain forest.
